Amish cooking cookbook

Last night I took out a package of our own home raised breakfast sausage to turn into Sausage and potato casserole.  I decided to use the breakfast one. I think next time.. hot sausage would even be better.
Cutting up potatoes and layering half in the dish I then put a layer of cooked sausage on it and then  poured over it a mixture of cream of mushroom soup, onions and milk reserving half to pour over the top. Another layer if potatoes, sausage and soup. Covered and cooked at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.
Made a salad and harvard beets to go with it along with homemade bread. 

Asked my husband how it was.. and he said... KEEP on doing what your doing *l* Guess it was a keeper!
